Apart from the cockroaches in that room, I would definitely rate the property highly Positive: I have been booking at this facility for my manager every time he travels to Durban. It is very safe, spacious, and he especially enjoys spending time at the gym. Negative: We experienced a significant issue with the room provided during our recent stay. Unfortunately, it was not up to the usual standard we have come to expect from our previous bookings. This particular room had a problem with cockroaches, which made the stay unpleasant for management.

Lovely place and I will certainly consider booking the property again. Positive: Location — everything you need is within arm’s reach, including the beach. Peaceful — very nice and quiet, except in the early mornings when one neighbour takes their dogs out and another starts their sports car. Spacious — the apartment is very roomy for me, my partner, and our 7year old daughter. Parking — secured parking for two vehicles. Play area — my daughter really enjoyed the play area. It would have been even better if the trampoline was placed inside that section. Negative: No privacy with the windows — the property could benefit from tinted windows because you lose all privacy when the curtains are open. En-suite basin tap — the water pressure was very poor. Master bedroom fan — it was covered in dust and clearly hadn’t been cleaned before our stay. Front door closer — the door closes far too fast and needs adjusting. As it is, it can easily injure a child. It doesn’t appear to be fitted to standard manufacturer guidelines. Dining chairs — the four chairs around the oak table were poorly assembled. The bolts were loose and even fell out when sitting down. This could be dangerous for anyone heavier I weigh only 70 kg and still found it unstable. Kitchen equipment — only two pots were provided, which my partner found inconvenient. Estate access — the process for longer-stay guests needs improvement. I did not appreciate being held up by security staff every time I entered. On two occasions, the host didn’t send me a new access code, leaving me stuck at the gate for an extended time, which was very frustrating.

We enjoyed ourselves so much, I can rate it 5/10 because of that issue of the stained sheet by sunscreen Positive: It’s very clean, quiet and safe Negative: You have to request for everything like access of pool, braaing area with no shelter. The issue of a stained sheet we had to pay R700 for that and what bore me worst is that we checked out on Sunday the 19th of October in the morning at 10 am but they told us about the issue on 24 of October and they failed to specify the exact room regarding such issue. I would recommend since they good in fining their guest, they must point all the wrongs as soon as we check out not after some days , I feel robbed. Other than that the place is good, beautiful for a couple or 2 friends not for the group of people because one mistake there’s issue.

Rudeness is an understatement. Positive: The apartment where very clean and was amazing. Security it is a 100% guaranteed. Very calm and quiet place. Negative: One of the lady owners she was extremely rude, we booked for an apartment of four people,however when we got to the apartment the utensils like bowls,spoons we only three in the apartment, pot lids were oversized and when we asked for more utensils she told us that it's a self catering. Lastly, what was the biggest disappointment when we left,one of my friends forgot her spectacles in the room when she asked the lady to please check it for her and if she find them asked her to be courier back to, the lady rudely said it is none of her business.
